Then Thailand, now India
Thailand was Amazing!! Put an indian girl like me with 2 Chinese girls like my girls Blossom and Winnie..and what do you get??? a HAMBURGER..!
Well, THAT and a WHOLE bunch of SHOPPING! Lemme present to you my most prized acquisition from Thailand..Only 100Baht..i.e. S$4..my J.Lo sunnies..this is how the sale went:
Yam wears the sunglasses, displayed at one on the street shops.
Yams asks: Winnie, Do I look like my dad with these on?
Winnie: Yes Yam, u really do look like your dad. Xiao.
Yam: I'm getting it!
So Dad can be happy that I wouldn't be using his glasses when I'm in the car anymore..i've got MI OWN!
And now presenting the greatest pair of shades EVER.....!
Yam in her beautiful sunnies, drinking SINGHA beer (Bangkok International Airport, Monday)
Bangkok has some fantabulous shopping spots, Pattaya was just gross..seriously, GROSS (too much sex-nonsense going on), but the banana pancakes were awesome-possum! Plus the steamed crabs and prawns with chilli sauce (to be eaten at 9am at the beach, specifically) were super-duper.
Came back from Thailand Monday afternoon..Met up with the greatest folks from @ ever =D, began packing for India Tuesday afternoon...i officially HATE packing..i want a proper cupboard! no more bags!
I'm heading off to India now (yeah, almost right now)..first to my cousin's wedding in Chennai where i'll see my grandparents after a year! (yaaayy!!), and where I'll meet dear Triinikas. And then off on my train to Bangalore next Tuesday! Work begins 1 Sept., next thursday..getting pretty excited, now that my bags are almost packed.
Right..so i'm trying this whole thing of minimizing procrastination...hopefully it works, and I stop/minimize procrastinating and blog a whole lot more..so i'll be in touch =) well, until i get my net connection..gawd knows when that would be..here's to the unknown!
